Participated in an intensive hands-on workshop on 'Edge AI with NVIDIA Jetson Nano: From Setup to Real-Time AI Applications' organized by Kathmandu University Information Technology Center (KUITC) and the IoT R&D Lab held on January 23, 2026. The training focused on edge computing fundamentals, embedded Linux OS configuration for Jetson platforms, sensor and camera interfacing, and deploying real-time AI perception models on physical hardware.
Works Executed & Responsibilities
Set up JetPack OS, developer toolchains, and Linux environments on NVIDIA Jetson Nano hardware
Connected and calibrated camera inputs and peripheral sensors through onboard GPIO and CSI ports
Ran real-time neural network inference for object detection and visual awareness tasks
Collaborated on practical Edge AI and IoT applications under the mentorship of KU faculty
